Way back in October 2009 I was getting really excited to go on my last family holiday. I had just moved away from my family for the first time, I only had internet access on my phone, I had just started a new job, and I was pretty lonely in a new city where I didn't know anyone. A last hurrah with my family was just what I needed to give me a boost. We were going to Chicago, I love the US and it is my mission to visit as many states as possible, and this would be the third trip to the US I had taken. I had watched Blues Brothers in preparation, I had picked out my warmest winter clothes, but what I really wanted to do, was shoot with a model while I was there. I had tried all the usual places, models replied to castings but wouldn't set dates or their attention drifted and they eventually stopped replying to messages.
A few days before I flew out, I updated my Zivity status saying I was going to Chicago and would be offline for a few days, two minutes later I had an excited email from a model I secretly internet stalked asking me to shoot! How awesome. We set a date, and she came to my hotel, there I met the beautiful Deanna Deadly. I am always somewhat shy when I meet a new model, but she was so cute, and so much fun I immediately fell in love with her. I was under instruction to only shoot for an hour so my family could head out for dinner at a reasonable time, two hours later we were forced to finish up but I was so thrilled to have met Deanna. She gave me a business card which I still have in my wallet to this day.
We shot two sets that are live on Zivity in my hotel room and it was by far the best day of my holiday. We kept in touch, both wishing one of us could go visit the other but damning the ocean between us, till one day Deanna announced she was coming to England, and she was booking her tickets so I had better get time off work! This time we had a whole week together and it was incredible fun. We shot latex, I took Deanna to pubs where she drank proper British beer, we adventured around castles and went to see Reel Big Fish dressed as punk rock Minnie Mouses, we dyed our hair, I accidently flashed Deanna's boobs at my next door neighbour... we created mischief! It was such a great week, and I was sad to see Deanna go, but I am so greatful that thanks to Zivity I have a wonderful friend, even if she does live thousands of miles away! We would never have had the chance to meet and shoot if it had not been for this site, so I cannot say thank you enough. Here's to next time!
Thanks Zivity!
