Jesus Wept - My 3 favorite Addicted Image Sets

Hi!

I think I have seen the inside of planes/hotels/rental cars/convention halls more than my own house in the last couple months.  I know that being busy es bueno, but Lord, whomever took me up on my request that I have an interesting life shouldn't been so literal.  LOL!

Like a couple other posters have stated, I look at pretty much every set posted on Zivity.com. Usually I take away thoughts like, "oo!  have to work with that model" or "dang, gonna have to watch that photographer in the future."...but the first time I logged into the site, back in the beta days, I discovered AddictiveImage's work.  Pardon my french, but fuck, that man can take a picture of a nude girl.  Pretty much knew at that moment that Zivity was a place that would make me strive to produce a better set every time I picked up a camera.

Conan just got into a motorcycle accident and is not as active here lately as he would like, so I figured that it was a good day to point out my favorite sets he has posted

As cool as it may be, a DeLorean DMC-12 is an underpowered alumium pig in the 80's automotive history books.  AddictedImage and Mischa manage to let it glow and gleam with all the potential awesomeness that the Back to the Future Series only hinted at:

Dmc

Siberia

(for the record, Mischa could pose next to a beat-up Prius and make it look cool and bad-ass.)

Like most of the members here, I'm a Watson fan...love her in front of the camera and enjoy hoisting a beer with our favorite redhead anytime of the day or night. What a way to meet this Texan petite ball of fury than her debut set with AddictedImage - almost monochromatic palette with all the soft fabric filling the frame.  So much promise glimpsed in 56 frames.

Hattie

 Parchment Revival

One thing I really love about Zivity is the free-form set guidelines. Unlike other sites I have shot for in the past, here you can stretch out and pretty much post what you need to get your point across.  Conan's open love letter to Mischa when she was going thru health issues in "Darth Vader..." was just made me wish I was a better person.

Xray

Darth Vader doesn't wake up at 7am

Go look at Conan's sets, drop a note (and/or some votes) here and there and remember, if there is someone that needs to be pointing a camera at things and showing the world the twisted inner beauty - it's Conan.

(I won't lie, I wrote this blog for purely selfish reasons, I want to see more of his work wherever & whenever I can.)

Every so often, I find a set on Zivity that moves me. I look at the images slower. I think about the artists. I try to imagine how the set came to be. I would like to share some of these with you.

Milk with AddictedImage and Mischa:

I would think this duo too good to be true if I hadn't met them myself (I think that really happened). Just look at Mischa's skin. I want to drink it! I imagine really good sex took place right before or after this was shot! SUPER BONUS: Conan debuts his posing skills :-)

Honey with DearestGrudge and PassionRayne:

WOW! Sweet, sticky honey + perfect lady parts = seXXXy! A big thank you to PassionRayne for getting dirty for the cause!

6,983 Miles with CorwinPrescottII and Vaunt:

Another dynamic duo! I admit I always had romantic fantasies about a cross country drive but have yet to get to experience it. The landscapes are almost as beautiful as Vaunt! What is this feeling? Is it a bit of patriotism? I like it :-)

My current favourite three sets...

On Zivity, my favourite sets are always changing, to pick out just three kick ass sets to feature from our amazing artists was practically torture!  I've tried to pick out sets I just keep on coming back to, because I think the sign of a truly fantastic set is one I just can't help but keep viewing again!

Steve Prue aka tmronin is one of my all time favourite photographers, not just on Zivity, but in the world of art.  I could pick out so many of his sets. At least once a week I peruse his sets and pick out random ones to look at again.  Check out his profile, if you aren't a fan of his already, you seriously should be.

One of my favourite sets of Steve's is 'Brookly Morning' with Watson.  I'm a little biased on this one, Hattie Watson is one of the coolest people I have ever met, and so much fun, and she has a special spot in my heart as literally my idea of a dream model, so I just had to feature their set together.  It makes me want to go to New York, to spend 6 months living in an apartment there, to meet incredible people.  I've viewed this set so many times its a little ridiculous.

Watson

Next up is another photographer who I would rank right up there in my favourites.  I think Corwin Prescott will one day be hailed as a modern great of erotic photography.  As with Steve, I could have picked out so many of his sets to feature, so I again decided to pick out a set featuring a model I have a total soft spot for.  Rachel Dashae is a model I have been following since before I got into photography, and to see how she has grown as a model, and to see the sets she has produced for Zivity is fabulous.  I adore her look, and she is pretty much the number one model I daydream about shooting.

Their set 'Secret Lake' is the epitome of summer.  It makes me think of hazy days lounging in the countryside, I think of road trips across America sunning myself in every state.  And seeing how stunning Rachel is without a spec of makeup is so cool, I love that she shares herself so barely, not many models are brave enough to do that.

Rachel

And last, but by no means least, I wanted to feature one of my favourite sets by a fellow UK duo.  When I first joined Zivity, there were so few people in the UK, but thanks to perseverance and hard work we now have a thriving mini community within Zivity, and I love watching us grow!

I was incredibly proud when Adam Robertson joined Zivity.  I have followed his work for a long time, and I believe he is a real coup for not only the UK Zivity members, but for the whole of Zivity.  His photography is so inspiring, and the way he works with models is great.

Again, I wanted to pick out a model I truly love too, and it seemed only fitting that I feature one of my best friends, my muse, and my very favourite model, a model I have in fact worked with no less than 18 times, Jessica Drue.  I love seeing her work with other photographers, I love seeing the different sides of her they show, and I was thrilled when she worked with Adam.  I love the way he uses depth in his work, and their set 'Roll in the grass' is just a perfect example of it

Jess

There were so many other sets I wanted to feature, but I am sticking to three for now, however I will certainly back to feature more amazing artists again soon!  There are so many that deserve attention.

Yael's top 3 favorite sets ever!

Dear Beauty Worshipers,

When I was told I had to choose my 3 favorite sets of all time, I had a brief moment of panic thinking how hard it was going to be, because as we all know there are no words to describe how high the level on Zivity can be.

So I browsed again all the sets I have voted for so far. There were 88 of them. And it seemed like it wasn't enough because I still can't afford to vote for all the sets that impress me.

But somehow, a top 3 popped quite easily in my head. So here goes...

Number 3 : "Gloom Fighter" with Viking by P_MOD

Under my first blog entry, dear TMRONIN reminded me not to forget about P_MOD. And he was obsiously right. P_MOD has his very own way to explore the female body and make us pay attention to details we would never have thought could be so erotic. But in this particular set, it's the different uses of different lights that amazed me. The concept itself was quite simple but it was tricky to execute and he nailed it. And just look at Viking, so innocent and totally abandoning herself to the viewer at the same time.

Gloomfighter

Number 2 : "6,983 Miles" with Vaunt by CorwinPrescottII

I love road trips and everything related to it. And I sometimes think that it's by showing the beauty of the Earth that we'll make people understand it needs to be preserved. Corwin shot several sets of that kind but I think this one's the best. Every single picture tells a story and is a complete masterpiece, it's so hard to just pick one. I wish I could afford prints of the whole set. So that I could have one picture per room at home. And Vaunt is rocking her body language like no one else.

Number 1 : "Fur Frenzy" with RachelDashae by CorwinPrescottII

Indeed, another set by Corwin! I wasn't even a fan of his work from the very beginning to be honest. But I've seen his vision grow so fast and I started to understand what he was trying to tell us through his art. And it was beautiful. Even if I'm against real fur, I can't help but thinking how good it can look (especially with a gorgeous woman on it). Plus, I can see Corwin is always paying a tribute to nature when he throws on the furs and the stuffed animals :D Rachel is my favorite Zivity model and she reached the maximum of hotness a set may contain with these shots.

Furfrenzy

I am happy to see that these sets gathered 67 + 67 + 158 = 292 votes so far! But could you give 'em even more love for me ;) ?

Late Nights With Zivity

So in my latest of late night editing sessions I have probably gone through almost every set that has ever gone live on Zivity.  That is a lot of sets.  That said I would like to bring you my all time Top 3 in no particular order.  These are the ones that I come back to time and time again, and occasionally imagine framed on our wall filling up the gap in the bedroom.

1. Diaspora Editorial

This isn't just one of the most beautiful sets on zivity.  This is one of the most beautiful sets I have ever seen.  Addictedimage does lighting and composition like nobody else, and he does it so damn well it looks easy, even when its extremely intricate, and thoughtful.  I've looked through the 8 images in this badboy a couple hundred times and I'm still not tired of it, which is pretty impressive because I can get tired of 40 of my own in about 6 seconds.

2. Secret Society

Secret
You may think this is a cop out because it won the most recent Playboy Prize contest, but its not. This set by Chase Lisbon is one of the most beautiful moody sets I have seen on this site, and I think it sets the bar so high its intimidating.  Every one of his images looks like a piece of art I would hang on my walls.  I'm convinced Chase is one of the most important photographers of our artistic generation, and I can't wait to see what else he comes up with.

3. Fauntastic

Fawn
Maybe its just that I spend too much time out in the woods, or the endless car rides across the country, but as soon as I saw this set from Pirate Photography I was in love.  I've seen her work grow in leaps and bounds since joining Zivity, but when this one popped up it was completely out of the park.  Its fun and cute as all hell.  I mean seriously look at it!  What's not to love I ask you?

So thats it, 6AM at the time of writing/finishing this one up, so that I could make sure I find the best with none of the daytime distractions.  I hope you take a look and continue to enjoy them as much as I have.
